Yes, completely free. All formatting, validation, and minification features are free with no usage limits. The site is sustained by non-intrusive Google AdSense advertising. We will never put core features behind a paywall or require a subscription.

Can I trust DevTools Pro with proprietary code?

Yes. All code formatting happens entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Your code is never transmitted to our servers — we literally have no server-side code processing capability. You can verify this by checking your browser's Network tab while formatting code; you'll see zero outbound requests containing your code.

What browsers does DevTools Pro support?

DevTools Pro works in all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera. The tool requires JavaScript to be enabled. Internet Explorer is not supported. For the best experience, we recommend using a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, or Brave).

Will DevTools Pro support more languages in the future?

Yes. We actively add support for new languages based on user demand. Current requests include TOML, Dockerfile, GraphQL, and various shell script formats. If you need a specific language, reach out via email and we'll prioritize it.

Does DevTools Pro store or log any of my code?

No. Since all processing happens client-side, there is nothing to log. Our server only serves the initial HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files — it has no visibility into what you type or paste into the editor. Standard web server logs (IP address, timestamp, page URL) are kept for security monitoring only, exactly as stated in our Privacy Policy.
